Created in 2002, the Tambour watch marked Louis Vuitton’s watchmaking debut. It has been reinterpreted in numerous versions, for both men and women, while always retaining its distinctive features. Fifteen years later, the Tambour is enhanced through a new collection: Tambour Moon. Today it is available in a unique feminine version: the Tambour Moon Divine.

A precious object for a contemporary woman

This new feminine expression of the Tambour Moon is in line with the aesthetic codes that made it so successful. The unique inward curve of its case outlines a highly unusual crescent-shaped profile. A clever play of light and reflections spreads to all the curves of the case. The Tambour Moon Divine demonstrates its glamour with its white mother-of-pearl or black lacquer dial, upon which the Monogram Flower glistens.

Far from being a simple motif, the Monogram Flower becomes an essential feature. Like an endless flow of waves, the first Monogram Flower appears at the centre of the dial, followed by a second, more precious diamond-set bloom. Finally a third, more graphic flower, all in gold or silver, emerges. This pattern then becomes a hologram on the dial, as though dancing in the light.

A single aesthetic, three versions

Available in three versions, 28 mm, 35 mm and 39.5 mm in diameter, the Tambour Moon Divine comes with a white mother-of-pearl or black lacquer dial, set with diamonds.

Louis Vuitton has dreamt up a more exclusive model with a 35 mm pink-gold case, diamond-set pink-gold horns, a burgundy-coloured lacquered dial and a matching alligator strap. It is fitted with an innovative interchangeable strap system patented by Louis Vuitton.
