Launched in 2019 by SRO Motorsports Group, this vintage and motorized epic rally will take on small country roads to reach the Loire\u2019s bucolic towns and castles. No competitions, no time limits or timings \u2013 simply riding off into the sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.my-watchsite.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/vendome9.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10000013996\" \/><figcaption>The star motor cars from the 80s will be displayed on the Place Vend\u00f4me on Friday the 10th of September and will then leave for the castles of the Loire, towards Vend\u00f4me.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The rally is open to everyone, though there are two non-negotiable conditions. The first one: driving a 1980s car. You don&#8217;t own one? No worries, the organizer thought of everything and renting options are available. The respect of these conditions will be taken into account when electing the winners of the elegance and photo contests, which will make you feel \u2013 even for just a weekend \u2013 like a star from the 80s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The fantastic itinerary of the Vend\u00f4me 80 Rally<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After receiving the road book on Friday, the pilots will drive to the Sources de Cheverny to take a relaxing break. Then they will head to Chambord after spending a calm night in one of the stunning hotels on the journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.my-watchsite.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/vendome7.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10000013994\" \/><figcaption>The cars registered for the Vend\u00f4me 80 Rally must all have been made between 1 January 1980 and 31 December 1989. Possible models include: Mercedes 190E 2.3-16, DeLorean DMC-12, Porsche 928, Volkswagen Golf GTI, Alpine GTA.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This stage will be punctuated by a gastronomic meal at the ch\u00e2teau de Rochecotte and will end on a high note at the ch\u00e2teau de Chambord with a special &#8220;Saturday Night Fever&#8221; party.
