JEANRICHARD\u2019s pop up store at LORIENT<\/strong><\/div>\n
The Volvo Ocean Race stops after the 8th leg at Lorient. The opportunity for JEANRICHARD to display their new collection, presented last January at the Salon de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in Geneva, in a unique setting. The temporary boutique is animated by the jeweler-designer Ronan Lucas, the new representative of JEANRICHARD at Lorient.<\/div>\n
FRANCK CAMMAS AND JEANRICHARD<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00ab Eight Months into the Everest of ocean racing is a challenge that I wanted to meet with the manufacture JEANRICHARD by my side \u00bb said Franck Cammas. The skipper of Groupama 4, currently 1st overall in the Volvo Ocean Race, leaves nothing to chance. The world\u2019s seas do not allow it. Heavy storms, strong waves, winds sometimes dizzying, rarely conciliatory. This concern for high standards is the origin of the meeting, May 2011, between JEANRICHARD and one of the most talented sailors of his generation.<\/div>\n
THE AQUASCOPE<\/strong><\/div>\n
Still holding his Diverscope he tested during the VOR, Franck Cammas is also ambassador of the new collection of diving watches Aquascope. To develop these diving automatic pieces, JEANRICHARD has revived one legendary model from the 60\u2019s. Its round case inserted into a barrel-shaped, water-resistant to 300 meters, is equipped with a bidirectional rotating bezel and hour markers for easy reading. Essential technology for amateur of shallow water, tested in JEANRICHARD\u2019s laboratory in La Chaux de Fonds. The Aquascope is made of steel and comes in four colors of dials on bright colored rubber straps.<\/div>\n
The Volvo Ocean Race and Lorient <\/strong><\/div>\n
The Volvo Ocean Race is the most dreadful crewed round world race with stopovers. The 11th edition parted from Alicante, Spain last October and will end in Galway, Ireland beginning of July. More than 70 000 km on all seven seas in 9 months and as many legs. The start of the final leg is scheduled for July 1st, Lorient being the penultimate stop.<\/div>\n
