The Grand D\u00e9part<\/em> of the Tour de France 2023 took place on Saturday, July 1st in Bilbao, Spain. The riders set off full power on the 110th edition of the sports competition, which is the most watched cycling event in the world and gets unrivaled attention from the media. The contestants will ride 3,405.6km in total including 8 flat stages, 4 hilly stages, 8 mountain stages, 1 individual time trial and 2 resting days before a glorious arrival on the Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es in Paris on Sunday, July 23rd. For the occasion, Tissot reiterates its partnership with the event and yet again takes on the role of Official Timekeeper of the championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every year, Tissot reminds us of their Tour de France partnership with a new sports watch. This 45-mm chronograph \u2013 either in steel with black PVD coating or in carbon-carbon composite \u2013 displays an asphalt-inspired textured dial and a rehaut with a tachymeter scale. The watch is powered by a quartz movement with the EOL function, a battery end-of-life indicator. To top it all, the instrument is delivered with two quick-interchangeability straps. One is in silicium \u2013 in yellow to reference the famous jersey \u2013 and the other in black perforated leather for an even sportier look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
