Lange&#8217;s mission statement when he formulated his ambition, some 60 years earlier, to build the world&#8217;s finest watches.<\/div>\n<div>With exquisite craftsmanship down to the last detail and advanced technical solutions, both brands share the quest for perfection with an unmatched fusion of style and finesse. It comes to the fore in the automotive masterpieces from Goodwood and in the high-precision timekeeping instruments from Saxony.<\/div>\n<div>Thus, it was only natural to portray the \u201cBest of Show\u201d trophy of this year&#8217;s Concorso d&#8217;Eleganza Villa d&#8217;Este together with exclusive hallmarks of legendary Rolls-Royce models from the past one hundred years. The photographs of the LANGE 1 TIME ZONE \u201cComo Edition\u201d were taken at the exhibition \u201cStrive for Perfection\u201d which the BMW Museum in Munich is hosting until 30 September 2014.<\/div>\n<div>The time-zone watch poses proudly with the \u201cSpirit of Ecstasy\u201d, the chrome figurine on the impressive signature grille of a Phantom I. It also cuts a good figure against the backdrop of an extravagant greyhound mascot in crystal that Ren\u00e9 Lalique created in the 1920s for the bonnet of a Rolls-Royce 20\/25 hp.<\/div>\n<div>The determination to never be satisfied with less than the best and instead to always strive for improvements that ex-ceed all expectations: that is the key to exceptional products that define bench-marks and write history. The eminent competition for classic automobiles and concept cars is taking place on Lake Como from 23 to 25 May 2014. The winner in the prestigious \u201cBest of Show\u201d category will receive a one-of-a-kind A. Lange &amp; S\u00f6hne timepiece that is no doubt as impeccable and unique as the extraordinary automobile selected by the jury. The caseback of the LANGE 1 TIME ZONE \u201cComo Edition\u201d displays the hand-engraved coat of arms of the competition host.
