The \u201cBig One For ONE DROP\u201d tournament organized by the World Series of Poker will take place in Las Vegas from June 29th to July 1st at Caesars Palace, one of the most famous luxury hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. This tournament is the world\u2019s most important and prestigious, and its one-million-dollar entry fee is the highest in the history of poker.<\/p>\n

Partner of the first edition in 2012, Richard Mille awarded the trophy to the winner of the World Series of Poker. The well-known Iranian player, Antonio Esfandiari, won on that occasion a Richard Mille platinium bracelet and the largest cash prize in the history of poker at $18,346,673$.<\/p>\n

This tournament is therefore one of the most spectacular charitable initiatives. The profits from the tournament will go to the \u201cOne Drop\u201d Foundation established by Guy Lalibert\u00e9, creator of Cirque du Soleil\u00ae, which works to provide universal access to water.<\/p>\n

The bracelet which will be given to the winner this year is inspired by the RM 033, an extra flat timepiece and a particular favorite of Richard Mille\u2019s.<\/p>\n

The case diameter of of this model is 45.7 mm while its thickness is only 6.30 mm. It is entirely made in white gold and fitted with grade 5 titanium lugs. A 0.77 Carat diamond has been cut to represent a drop of water and is supported between the anti-glare sapphire glass. It sits on the logo of \u2018Big One For One Drop\u2019 Foundation which is, naturally, a drop of water. The bracelet in platinium and titanium has been entirely wire-cut and its components, which have all been assembled, cambered and enamelled, have been polished by hand.<\/p>\n

This unique and extraordinary piece has been developed by M\u00e9lanie Treton-Monceyron, the brand\u2019s Artistic Director. Given the hard and brittle nature of platinum, it is extremely difficult to work with and to no less than 200 hours to complete. This was a major challenge because the laser engraving of WSOP logo on the sapphire glass required the creation of a specific machine.<\/p>\n

Richard Mille has always been a keen supporter of charitable causes like the YBAfraid Foundation of Yohan Blake, Free the Children of Natalie Portman or the Dragon\u2019s Heart Foundation of Jackie Chan. Richard Mille will be delighted to award the winner the \u00ab BIG ONE FOR ONE DROP \u00bb 2014 bracelet as the proceeds of this tournament are of enormous importance to the Charity and of course to support his friend Guy Lalibert\u00e9.<\/p>\n
