It gives us great pleasure to<\/strong><strong>announce that Swiss luxury watchmaker, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique Constant will once again take<\/strong><strong>part in the &#8220;ONLY WATCH 2011&#8221; auction to be held in Monte Carlo, Monaco on<\/strong><strong>22 September 2011, under the high patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II<\/strong><strong>of Monaco.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>As in previous years, all participating watch brands will rally around a single cause: contributing to raising money for the Association Mon\u00e9gasque Contre les Myopathies (Monaco Association against Myopathies), an association that undertakes research on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a rare genetic disorder affecting one in every 3\u2019500 baby boys. Each watchmaker will donate one (or multiple) unique timepiece(s), created especially for the occasion.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2018During the period 2009-2010, in excess of EUR 3 million were paid out to 15 scientific partners and their teams of 90 researchers and clinicians based in five different countries: United States, France, Italy, the UK and Switzerland. It is extraordinary to be able to make such a major contribution to the development of new therapeutic treatments for sufferers of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy\u2019 said Luc Pettavino.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Participating for the third year, the Geneva watchmaker Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique Constant will be donating a \u2018Unique Family Set of Unique Pieces\u2019 to the auction. This set consists of four timepieces, one for each member of a family.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The father will receive a \u2018Maxime Manufacture Automatic\u2019 in 18-carat pink gold with a delicate silver sunray dial and brown leather strap, while the new, supremely elegant \u2018Amour Heart Beat Ladies Automatic\u2019 watch in 18-carat pink gold with vanilla finish will seduce all mothers alike. The children won\u2019t feel left out, as they will be able to sport their very first Swiss watch, designed to fit them perfectly. The \u2018Frederique Constant Junior? Lady\u2019 in steel with a diamond-set bezel is perfect for the daughter in search of the perfect accessory, while the \u2018Frederique Constant Junior? Chronograph\u2019 with its silver dial and eye-catching red hour markers will appeal to the son. Naturally, each of these four timepieces will have the words, \u2018Only Watch 2011 \u2013 Family Set Unique Piece\u2019 engraved on its case back.
