Geneva, November 9th 2018 \u2013 the prize-winners of the 18th Grand Prix d\u2019Horlogerie de Gen\u00e8ve (GPHG) were unveiled this evening on the stage of the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du L\u00e9man.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Excellence, creativity and horological expertise were saluted by an international jury which had designated the winners of 17 prizes and awarded the \u201cAiguille d\u2019Or\u201d Grand Prix to Bovet 1822 for the R\u00e9cital 22 Grand R\u00e9cital watch.<\/p>\n

The prestigious distinctions rewarded the work of the following brands: Akrivia, Chanel, De Bethune, Greubel Forsey, Habring2, Herm\u00e8s, Konstantin Chaykin, Krayon, Laurent Ferrier, Nomos Glash\u00fctte, Seiko, Singer Reimagined, Vacheron Constantin and Van Cleef & Arpels.<\/p>\n

The Special Jury Prize, which honours an influential actor on the watchmaking scene, was awarded to Jean-Claude Biver.<\/p>\n

Presented by actor Edouard Baer and enlivened with songs performed by V\u00e9ronic DiCaire, this 18th prize-winning ceremony took place before an audience of 1,300 guests who had congregated in Geneva to celebrate the vitality of the watchmaking art.<\/p>\n
