Polo has always played a very important role in the Mac Donough\u2019s lives. It is therefore no surprise that the Argentinean began playing polo at only 6 years old in the \u201cNueva Escocia Polo Ranch\u201d, Buenos Aires, where Pablo\u2019s father breads his own horses. Pablo Mac Donough played as a pro soon after he finished high school.<\/p>\n

At 23 years old, Pablo Mac Donough became part of \u00abLa Irenita\u00bb where the breeding program for polo horses is held. The farm was bought by his father and brother when he was 15 years old. His career was kicked off in 2001 when he won the \u201cCamara de Diputados Cup\u201d in Buenos Aires. In 2003 he began playing for Ellerstina, one of the best Argentinean Polo teams of the last decade, where he played eight seasons and won the 2010 Argentinean Triple Crown.<\/p>\n

As his career sky rocketed, Pablo Mac Donough accomplished the followings titles: The Argentinean Polo Open (two times), Hurlingham Open (four times), Queen\u00b4s Cup (two times) and UK Gold Cup for the British Open (once).<\/p>\n

In 2010, Pablo Mac Donough was regarded as one of the best polo players in the world when he became Number One of the World Polo Tour Ranking. In May 2011, he joined the elite crowd of the Richard Mille Polo Team alongside Prince Bahar Jefri.<\/p>\n

As in Formula 1, tennis and golf, polo is an extreme sport requiring physical performance and endurance. Constantly in search for new testing grounds, Richard Mille decided to get involved in this sport to address new technical challenges and test innovative solutions in the world of Haute Horlogerie.<\/p>\n

Pablo Mac Donough stands alongside Felipe Massa, Rafael Nadal and Bubba Watson in wearing a Richard Mille watch during his tournaments, the RM010 Black Night. From 2012, he will wear an exceptional timepiece, created specifically for him which will also be a limited and numbered edition.<\/p>\n

This watch, designed to withstand extreme conditions, will be unveiled at the SIHH 2012.<\/p>\n
