An H-10 automatic movement animates the Jazzmaster Open Heart model. Performance isn’t a joke: it provides a power reserve of about 80 hours. Meaning, you can take off your watch for a whole week-end, and it will still be on time on Monday morning (while you might not be).
Such autonomy relies on optimized deflecting torque and power management – everything is built to last. As for the watch’s resistance, the Nivachron™ hairspring acts as a high-tech shield. It is anti-magnetic and can resist temperature variations, thus protecting the watch from exterior assaults and magnetic fields. Thanks to a partly-open architecture, you can admire it through the dial. Strong-hearted but not reserved.
A dial with a heart in the right place
A watch that wears the “Open Heart” signature will hide nothing from you: the smartly-located aperture reveals its vibrating balance spring – a true conductor of time. Yet, the goal isn’t to be showy. Hamilton bets on controlled elegance, as this aperture naturally blends in with the dial and doesn’t prevent legibility. The dial displays a Sfumato effect: up to 3 layered hues are combined to play with the light. Deep brown or intense blue, golden nuances and silver hues… The tints evolve and shape-shift, providing for a true relief. The hands, yellow or rose gold-plated and coated in Super-LumiNova®, ensure legibility and contrasts.
The whole piece is protected by a sapphire crystal with an anti-glare coating. With its balanced dimensions, this Jazzmaster Open Heart is available as 36; 40 or 42mm editions. A stainless-steel case, a quincux-patterned 5-link bracelet or a patinated leather strap and a waterproof feature up to 50 meters: nothing is left to chance on this coherent piece.
