BVLGARI, Serpenti Seddutori Automatic
At the beginning of the year, Bvlgari took another major step forward by integrating, for the first time, an automatic calibre into the iconic Serpenti. Named Lady Solotempo, this new movement—the result of three years of development—now joins the exclusive circle of the Maison’s emblematic calibres, alongside the Solotempo and Finissimo.

Compact and sophisticated, the new calibre measures 19 mm in diameter and only 3.90 mm in thickness, while offering a power reserve of approximately 50 hours. Its round architecture complements perfectly the sensual curves of the Serpenti, and Bvlgari was keen to highlight this technical feat. The result: a transparent case back that reveals each gear, and an oscillating weight adorned with seven scales, a direct nod to the links of the bracelet.

It’s worth noting that this high-precision movement can be used in other movements from various LVMH group brands and will be manufactured in Zenith’s workshops. The Serpenti Seduttori Automatic collection is available in seven models, from all rose gold to yellow gold, including steel and two-tone versions. With opaline, black lacquered, or fully diamond-paved dials, each creation displays a strong personality, enhanced by a crown set with a cabochon rubellite, or a blue sapphire for the white gold and diamond version.

CARTIER in mini mode with the Santos and the Baignoire
Cartier sets the standard for style with the Santos in a smaller version, a timepiece that proves it has lost none of its power in miniature. A worthy successor to the watch designed in 1904 for the aviator Santos-Dumont by his friend Louis Cartier, this version highlights the very essence of the Maison’s design: precision, elegance, and functionality.

Measuring 27 x 34.5 mm and just 7.08 mm thick, this watch encapsulates the very essence of Santos: a square bezel punctuated with screws, subtly rounded corners, an integrated bracelet, and a signature dial with Roman numerals and a minute track. Its silhouette is instantly recognizable. Following the trend of “mini-watches,” this model prioritizes a quartz movement for both slimness and precision.

The different versions – steel, two-tone, and yellow gold – are equipped with interchangeable straps featuring QuickSwitch and SmartLink systems, allowing you to change or adjust the strap in seconds. Simple and intuitive. Neither “feminine” nor “masculine,” the small Santos de Cartier model claims a unique status: that of a unisex icon.

The Cartier Baignoire, mini model
Mini, but maxi: the wave of small watches continues to surge, and Cartier is leading the way with its iconic Baignoire. An icon for over a century, the sensual oval of this jewellery watch is reinvented in a miniature format that captures perfectly the spirit of the times. On this case reduced to its essentials, the fluted bezel stands out, sculptural, like a jewel in its own right.

The domed crystal accentuates the softness of the lines and frames a silver dial of crystalline elegance. Available in all-diamond versions, in yellow gold on leather, or as a full band, the Baignoire remains true to its essence while lending itself to all manner of daring interpretations. In its mini version, it embraces radical chic: quartz movement, yellow gold case, beaded crown adorned with a sapphire cabochon, blued sword-shaped hands, black patent calfskin strap, and a secret signature within the bar of the “X.” Measuring 24.6 x 18.7 mm and 7.2 mm thick, with water resistance to 30 meters, it stands out as a concentrated expression of Cartier style.

CHANEL, J12 Bleu
Five years of research, countless trials, a demand bordering on obsession: to achieve Chanel blue, that rigorous, almost black blue, conceived by Arnaud Chastaingt. The House spared no expense. To create this high-resistance matte blue ceramic, Chanel controls every step: selection of powders, debinding, sintering supervised to the degree, then meticulous polishing. Seven steps, zero compromises.

This new material, at once matte, deep, and scratch-resistant, becomes the signature of the latest J12 Bleu, a watch that pushes watchmaking expertise and creativity to their fulcrum. Contrasts play out like stage effects: the matte blue responds to the black-treated steel, the varnished reflections stand out against the mineral textures. Like this 38mm J12 Bleu Calibre 12.1, the timepiece makes a stylistic statement as much as a technical manifesto, immediately asserting its identity. On the back, a sapphire crystal case back engraved with “LIMITED EDITION” recalls its exclusivity. The fixed black-treated steel bezel is highlighted by a matte blue ceramic ring with a baguette pattern, while the varnished matte blue dial is punctuated with black varnished hour markers.

The screw-down crown, also in black-coated steel, is topped with a matte blue ceramic cabochon, and the bracelet fastens with a blackened steel triple-folding clasp. At the heart of this model, water-resistant to 200 meters, beats the Calibre 12.1, an automatic in-house movement developed by Kenissi and certified as a chronometer by the COSC. Its open worked rotor provides a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.

OMEGA, Seamaster Planet Ocean
Omega delves into its history to unveil the fourth generation of the Planet Ocean. Seven new models, three colour palettes, a refined silhouette, and a complete technical overhaul: the iconic dive watch enters a new era, more robust and technically advanced than ever. The first striking evolution is a completely redesigned case architecture. The manufacture draws inspiration from the Seamaster models of the 1980s and 1990s to create a case with angular, taut surfaces, reinforced by an inner titanium ring. This strategic choice, inherited from the research conducted for the Planet Ocean Ultra Deep, offers increased resistance and guarantees water resistance to 600 meters while preserving the aesthetic DNA of the historical models.

This innovative construction achieves a remarkable feat: despite their 42 mm diameter, the new Planet Ocean watches are significantly thinner. The thickness is reduced from 16.1 mm to just 13.79 mm, thanks to a now-flat sapphire crystal and meticulous engineering work on the bezel and case. The screw-down, solid grade 5 titanium case back replaces the sapphire crystal. It enhances the watch’s robustness and features an engraved seahorse surrounded by the traditional wavy edge. The bezel, in particular, remains a major area of innovation. The Maison has mastered the challenges of coloured ceramics, especially orange—a signature of the Planet Ocean, but a pigment that is difficult to stabilize—better than ever. The result: a new, vibrant, durable, and deep orange [ZrO2] ceramic, available on several models. Alongside it, blue and black bezels are enhanced with diving scales in enamel or hybrid ceramic.

Titanium case back engraved with the Omega seahorse.
On the matte black dial, Omega subtly modernizes the look of its diver’s watch: arrow hands, solid Super-LumiNova indices, and now open worked Arabic numerals, more square and sharper, echoing the original Planet Ocean. The overall design gains stylistic coherence, particularly with the new, redesigned, thinner straps, integrated into the case and adjustable to six positions. Available in steel or rubber—including a vibrant orange—all retain the dive extension.

Explosive orange, deep blue, or technical black: each version asserts a strong personality, but it is above all the invisible mechanics that define this generation. The various iterations are powered by a self-winding movement with a Co-Axial escapement, certified Master Chronometer and approved by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). Resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, it features a silicon balance spring and offers approximately 60 hours of power reserve.

TISSOT, PRC 100 Solar
At Tissot, they decided to no longer simply admire light… but to capture it. With the PRC 100 Solar, the brand transforms every ray – natural or artificial – into pure energy. A watch that feeds on light? Yes, and it does so with a seriousness bordering on technical audacity. At the heart of this new-generation watch beats a Swiss quartz movement, renowned for its formidable precision and minimal energy consumption.

But the real revolution here is called Lightmaster Solar. Forget visible and unsightly photovoltaic panels: the PRC 100 Solar conceals its microscopic honeycomb solar cells beneath the sapphire crystal. The result: a perfectly clean dial. Light passes through the glass, powers the cells, and then the energy is transmitted to the movement via a zebra connector integrated into the case.

The excess power? It’s stored in a rechargeable battery, capable of providing up to 14 months of autonomy in total darkness after a full charge. In other words, even the darkest drawer won’t deplete its reserve. Better still: ten minutes of light is enough to last 24 hours. Simply wearing the watch every day can theoretically keep it running indefinitely.

In terms of reliability, nothing is left to chance. An EOE (End of Energy) indicator warns of a low battery by skipping the seconds hand every four seconds. The hands and hour markers benefit from Super-LumiNova® to remain perfectly legible in the dark. All of this is housed in a steel case, water-resistant to 100 meters. As an added bonus, Tissot offers a three-year warranty on this PRC 100 Solar, proving that here, light is not just a marketing ploy: it’s a promise of longevity.
Starting from €445.

TRILOBE, Nuit Fantastique Secret

With the Nuit Fantastique Secret, Trilobe incorporates a unique feature: a fully personalized dial reproducing the celestial map corresponding to a date, location, and time chosen by the future owner. This astronomical representation is generated using an algorithm comprising 1,600 constellations, based on the work of Jean Meeus in Calculs astronomiques à l’usage des amateurs (Astronomical Calculations for Amateurs). Capable of recreating both past and future skies, it guarantees each watch a truly unique signature. The display becomes even more spectacular at nightfall. After exposure to UV light, the pad-printed stars illuminate, creating a nighttime display where the constellations come alive beneath the sapphire crystal.

The watch, imbued with great poetry, houses the X-Centric automatic calibre, developed exclusively by the brand. This in-house developed movement, equipped with a micro-rotor, combines slimness (5.78 mm thick) and performance, with a 48-hour power reserve.

True to the Maison’s DNA, it offers a time display via three rotating rings—hours, minutes, and seconds—moving on the same plane, a patented concept that distinguishes Trilobe in the contemporary watchmaking landscape. The grade 5 titanium case alternates between satin and mirror-polished finishes. Water-resistant to 50 meters, it features a domed bezel, a double anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and a transparent case back. Two sizes are available: 38.5 mm or 40.5 mm.

TUDOR, Ranger
Since the 1950s, Tudor watches have accompanied explorers in the most extreme environments, from the icy landscapes of the British North Greenland Expedition to the scorching dunes of the Rub’ al Khali, now traversed in the Dakar Rally. The new Ranger models fully embrace this expeditionary heritage, introducing two major updates: an increased diameter of 36 mm and a new matte-finish “dune white” dial.

Designed as a true tool watch, the Ranger remains true to the characteristics for which it is renowned. Its satin-finished 316L stainless-steel case—also available in 39 mm—reinforces its robustness. The new “dune white” dial, understated yet highly distinctive, pays tribute to the extreme conditions of the Dakar Rally: scorching heat, rocky terrain, and vast desert landscapes. Legibility and efficiency are paramount, with hands coated in green Super-LumiNova.

The history of the collection dates back to 1929, when the name “Ranger” was registered to lend an adventurous dimension to certain Tudor timepieces. The current aesthetic emerged in the 1960s: large luminescent Arabic numerals in the cardinal positions, distinctive hands, and a simple yet robust design. Over time, the Ranger has seen numerous variations, culminating in the “Ranger II” version with an integrated bracelet, launched in 1973. The new models perpetuate this tradition while incorporating contemporary technical advancements.

They are equipped with the in-house automatic calibres MT5400 (36 mm) and MT5402 (39 mm). Their variable-inertia balance, held by a double-anchored traversing bridge and paired with an anti-magnetic silicon balance spring, allows for chronometer certification by the COSC, with tolerances exceeding the institution’s requirements: only -2 to +4 seconds per day. The 70-hour power reserve, described as “weekend proof,” ensures ample autonomy.

The Ranger is offered on a steel bracelet incorporating the T-fit quick-adjustment system, allowing for instant sizing without tools. A more adventurous alternative is available with a fabric strap handwoven by Julien Faure.
