RICHARD MILLE CELEBRATES WITH GALERIE PERROTIN AT ART BASEL HONG KONG

By MyWatch
Richard Mille never ceases to surprise watch lovers with his artistry and the use of avant garde materials, architectural and creative concepts. It is no surprise then that Richard Mille is collaborating with one of the most prestigious Parisien galleries, Galerie Perrotin by Emmanuel Perrotin. The first edition of Art Basel was launched in Hong Kong on May 23-26.
Designed by Andre Fu, Galerie Perrotin opened its gallery in Hong Kong in May 2012 and for this special occasion, they arranged to exhibit the international prolific contemporary Japanese artist Takashi Murakami and the French sculptor Xavier Veilhan, both having already exhibited their amazing works in Versailles.
This collaboration is a natural extension of Richard Mille’s intense connection with contemporary art and architecture and a corollary with the visionary timepieces created by the brand which break all boundaries of traditional shape and form.
Together with Richard Mille, Galerie Perrotin Hong Kong hosted an exclusive dinner for its celebrated artists Takashi Murakami and Xavier Veilhan. Mr. Francois Curiel, Head of Christie’s Asia, Mr. Thomas Olbricht and family, Mr. Renzo Rosso and family and Mr. Ramin Salsali were amongst the 200 prestigious guests and collectors attending from all over the world.
