Seven tick toking wonders for ritzy-chic holidays!
Today’s seven watches don’t lack colour, freshness and audacity. With turquoise glints, remarkable complications and artistic references, the watchmaking compagnies open their doors to an elegant and fashionable summer. Whether you dream about snorkeling in the crystal-clear water of a lagoon, or about sipping cocktails on a ritzy terrace by the harbour, each one of these watches can reflect your summery mood. Let’s focus on the new models that shine through this new video.
CHOPARD, Happy Fish
We’d like to splash about with this absolute wonder, but it is water-resistant only to 30 meters. Never mind! It remains the perfect accessory to preen by the swimming pool that matches its turquoise nuances.

The 36mm case made of Lucent Steel™ and ethical rose gold holds a stunning turquoise dial. The textured mother-of-pearl jewel resembles ocean waves, and glimmers with iridescent reflections anytime you move your wrist. Following on from the Happy Sport collection created in 1983 by Caroline Scheufele, co-president of Chopard, this Happy Fish model displays 3 mobile diamonds that twirl around between two sapphire crystals. They dance and swim around a fish made of ethical rose gold, with embedded diamonds as scales, and an onyx eye.

With its manufacture quartz movement and its matching interchangeable matt turquoise grained calfskin leather strap, this model only exists in 250 copies. Having it at your wrist this summer will ensure you to be happy as a fish in the water!

LOUIS VUITTON, Tambour Taiko Spin Time

As one of the emblems of Louis Vuitton high watchmaking since 2009, the Spin Time complication presents a surprising three-dimensional jumping cubes display. This new way of reading the time is strongly linked to the idea of travel: the Tambour Saiko Spin Time design was inspired by the overhead flap displays that show timetables in airports and railway stations. The collection contains six remarkable models, including this Tambour Saiko Spin Time. Following on from the last Tambour edition that was revealed in 2023, its case is a reference to the drums used in Japanese rituals. Made of 18ct white gold, this 39,5mm case shows carved lugs with double finishing and a mirror-like micro-blasted polish that are integrated with the case, for a slender silhouette.

Both carved and polished, the L.O.U.I.S V.U.I.T.T.O.N letters adorn the sandblasted case.
The watch is powered by a manual winding caliber, with a power reserve of about 45 hours and a balance wheel that vibrates at a 4Hz frequency. On the sun-brushed Dolphin Grey dial, the rotating cubes, which are now curved, follow Spin Time’s characteristic mechanical process. Every time the hour changes, two cubes instantly rotate simultaneously. To achieve such a feature, Louis Vuitton’s engineers developed a patented Geneva drive gear that is placed at the base of each cube. This clever apparatus allows you to set the time easily, and to manipulate the movement without creating any damage. This successful edition, which is also water-resistant to 100 meters, comes with a matching rubber strap covered in a V-like pattern.

SEIKO, Presage Frozen Mojito
Seiko’s Cocktail collection is inspired by the most famous cocktails, but also particularly the high-end ones that are sold in Ginza district bars.

The three new editions bear the name and display the color, the atmosphere and the delicacy of a cocktail on their dials. This ice-cold 34mm Frozen Mojito model shows a texture that reminds of crushed ice, and a tint reminiscent of fresh herbs and limes. Its dial holds faceted indices, with a diamond embedded on each cardinal point, silver-grey hands and golden seconds hand. The date is displayed at 4:30 o’clock. This water-resistant to 50 meters watch is powered by an automatic caliber with a power reserve of about 41 hours.

TISSOT, PRX Quartz 40 mm and 35 mm
With the iconic PRX, Tissot brings back an emblematic watchmaker design. With an integrated metal bracelet, a stainless-steel tonneau case and a fine sporty-yet-relaxed dial, this watch draws on the DNA of the 1970 models.

Slender but sturdy, this watch presents a vertical brushed finish that enhances its sporty look. The “PRX” letters underline the watch’s technical qualities: “PR” means “Précise et Robuste” (Precise and Sturdy), and “X” (10 in Roman numerals) refers to its water-resistant feature to 10 ATM – meaning 100 meters. These three letters are proudly displayed on a bright red dial… bound to make you blush. The two models – available in 40mm and 35mm – are powered by a quartz EOL movement, which indicates the battery end-of-life (EOL) as the seconds hand jolts every four seconds.

TUDOR, Black Bay 54 “Lagoon Blue”
Several editions of the Black Bay – Tudor’s iconic collection – are available, such as this refreshing novelty. Inspired by the divers’ watches developed in 1950 and 1970 by the brand, the Black Bay 54 “Lagoon Blue” stands out by the azure colour of its grained 37mm dial.

The dial is topped with numerous features: iconic snowflake hands – that were copied from the 1969 French navy models– and thick indices, both covered with ultra-bright grade A Super-LumiNova®. A unidirectional bezel with a mirror-like polished finish sits atop. Throwing back dazzling reflections, its 60 minutes graduation doesn’t indicate the usual first 15 minutes. This watch is water-resistant to 200 meters. Also, the 5 links bracelet presents a unique design: the middle links are polished while the outside ones have a satin finish.

This supple and comfortable bracelet comes with a “T-fit” buckle: this intuitive system allows you to quickly set the bracelet’s length on 8mm in one of the 5 precise positions available, without any tool. This model is powered by a manufacture automatic caliber with an anti-magnetic silicon spiral and a power reserve of about 70 hours. Also, it is a certified chronometer by the COSC (Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute).

CHANEL, Boy·Friend Blush

I’m not afraid to say it: I have to softest spot for the Boy·Friend Blush model that casts a pop art-like light on Gabrielle Chanel. The pink-shaded genius designer sends us a mischievous kiss. Coco’s illustration is sheltered in a black-coated octagonal stainless-steel case. The hand-lacquered black-coated bezel copies its delicate dimensions (27,9 x 21,5 x 6,2mm). This beauty, powered by a Swiss quartz movement, is water-resistant to 30 meters and adorned by a pink quilted calfskin leather strap with a black-coated leather belt loop.

Let’s dwell on the Blush collection which includes this model. The new edition incorporates Chanel’s aesthetic codes. Arnaud Chastaingt, director of the Chanel Watchmaking Creation Studio draws on the house’s emblematic textures, colours and items to make it encompass the watchmaking universe. With numerous references to drip painting and pop art, this collection stands out by its nuanced powdery dials sublimated by exceptional crafts such as Grand Feu enamel, decal and pad printing, airy setting or miniature portraits.
