The Swiss watch brand Longines, which benefits from a watchmaking expertise reflecting a strong devotion to tradition, elegance and performance, officially inaugurated its first boutique in France in the chic neighborhood of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The celebration, attended by Walter von Känel, President of Longines, Florence Ollivier, President of Swatch Group France and Swatch Group France Les Boutiques and Frédéric Bondoux, Brand Manager for Longines France, was enhanced by the presence of Longines Ambassador of Elegance Stefanie Graf. The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place among an intimate group of special guests and media in front of the boutique, located at 3, rue de Sèvres, on the Parisian Left Bank.

The elegant environment of the boutique, covering 120 square meters, enhances the 500 models on display. It has a natural warm wooden interior with deep brown display cabinets, each branded with the Longines logo, giving the space a timeless atmosphere. This Longines boutique will allow the clients and watch collectors to come and admire iconic timepieces of the brand, as well as new models, such as the Conquest Classic Moonphase, the Official Watch of Roland Garros, of which Longines is the Official Partner and Timekeeper since 2007.

A museum corner and a VIP lounge are also open to the visitors of the Longines boutique. A team of specialists will welcome the clients and able to provide expert advice on the product lines of the brand. Services also include the presence of a qualified watchmaker, who will be delighted to explain the technical features of each watch and offer customer service for every model sold on the boutique.

“We are really proud to have opened our first Longines monobrand boutique in France and to give our French clients the opportunity to discover our watches in an exclusive environment that mirrors the brand’s DNA, that is elegance. The boutique also offers a comprehensive range of professional support services for owners,” said Mr von Känel. “We hope that our boutique will become a destination for watch collectors and enthusiasts to experience discovering, purchasing and collecting watches in an elegant way,” he added.

On the occasion of this inauguration, Longines Ambassador of Elegance Stefanie Graf said: “I am very pleased to be invited in Paris for this celebration and to show my support to Longines. I have been an ambassador for the brand since 2008 and have been living numerous memorable moments with it: at Roland Garros of course, but also at other sports events and today at the inauguration of the very first Longines boutique in France. I think that its sophisticated atmosphere really fit to the elegance of Longines and its timepieces.”

The new Longines boutique is a modern interpretation of the brand’s traditional values and about two centuries of craftsmanship. With each new boutique opening, Longines takes the opportunity to show different facets of its passion for elegance and constant innovation.
