Celebrating its 10th anniversary, “Les Montres” exhibition will greet all fine horology enthusiasts on the 7th, 8th and 9th of November, place Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris, France. Created by Arnaud and Jean Lassaussois, proprietors of the Les Montres stores, this event gathers 13 of the most prestigious fine watchmakers of the world. Free of access and open to all, this 10th edition welcome watch-lovers and novices to come and feast their eyes on the finest in watchmaking, discover the brands’ latest creations, take an introduction course to horology and even acquire their favorites…

Loyal to the meeting, Baume & Mercier, Bell & Ross, Blancpain, Breitling, BRM, Chanel, Hermès, Hublot, Jaeger LeCoultre, Panerai, Pequignet, Tag Heuer and Zenith will showcase their newest creations, along with wristband manufacturer Bouveret and contemporary clock maker Philippe Lebru. In a hushed and intimate atmosphere, favoring conviviality and exchanges, visitors will have the opportunity to satiate their curiosity, benefit from experts’ advice, try their favorite watches and even leave with them, as it is possible to buy the timepieces displayed.

Three days of introduction and discovery
Tinged with Parisian charm, “Les Montres” exhibit is punctuated by several features unveiling what is behind the making of a watch. A horology workshop, set up by Jaeger LeCoultre watchmakers, will reveal the minute work required to assemble a high precision movement. Complimentary introduction courses to horology, given by Objectif Horlogerie, will let visitors grab the professionals’ tools and try their hands at making a watch. A temporary bookshop full of reference books will help the more curious ones to deepen their clockmaking knowledge. Last but not least, the watch buffs will try their luck at the sweepstakes for a chance to visit the Jaeger LeCoultre manufacture.

Originating in 2003 at the Lutetia Hôtel, “Les Montres” exhibition has established itself as a key event for horology enthusiasts. With its attendance figures peaking since moving to Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the exhibition has gathered 3.500 visitors in three days last year… Irrefutable evidence of a general enthusiasm for horology and an appreciation for the brands’ closeness to the public.
