Maldonado, who is in only his second season in Formula 1, won the Spanish Grand Prix after his team outmaneuvered Ferrari with their pit-stop strategy, securing the first win for the Williams F1 Team since the 2004 Brazilian Grand Prix.

This is the 6th Spanish GP win for the Williams F1 Team and their 114th win in total. The team’s pace was strong throughout with every member of the team playing a vital part in the victory.
Oris’ Executive Chairman, Ulrich W. Herzog commented: “We would like to congratulate Maldonado and the whole of the Williams F1 Team. This is the 10th year Oris has supported Williams F1, and we have witnessed their ongoing dedication – to see the team’s hard work result in a success like this makes us very, very proud.”
Sir Frank Williams, Team Principal of the Williams F1 Team, added, “We are extremely happy with this victory, and want to congratulate Pastor Maldonado on his fantastic drive. I’d like to thank Oris, one of our established and long-term partners, for their continuous commitment and support which allows us to strive for and achieve this kind of success.”
