Rafael Nadal wins the Acapulco Tournament with a Richard Mille RM 27-01 at the wrist

Rafael Nadal who was away from courts for seven months due to a long-term knee injury, returned in good shape for this tournament and did not concede a single set and gave up his serve only once.

Thanks to this victorious final, Rafael adds a 52nd title of which 38 were on clay. This victory marks a big return in the sport, barely a fortnight after his victory in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Richard Mille partner since 2010, Rafa competed with his RM 27-01 on his wrist at the Acapulco tournament, the world’s lightest tourbillon (19 grams strap included). The RM 27-01 was previewed for the very first time in Geneva during the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie.

The caliber RM27-01 is a triumph of engineering and technology, created by Richard Mille and in close collaboration with Rafael Nadal as the RM 027 Tourbillon and the RM 035 Chronofiable® certified. Truly innovating with a movement held in total suspension at its heart and a baseplate attached to the case by four braided steel cables just 0.35 mm in diameter.
