Omega Seamaster Diver 300M: choose your side
For over thirty years, the Seamaster Diver 300M has accompanied James Bond on his missions. With these new versions, Omega is shaking things up. For the first time, Spectre enters the fray. The watchmaker offers two stainless steel models: one with a blue dial staying true to 007 and a black version that exudes a more mysterious air. Both feature the same 42 mm case and Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre, yet they possess distinct personalities clearly opting for different suits. James Bond or Spectre? The choice is yours.
Bond or Spectre ?
For the famous British spy, the Seamaster Diver 300M features a blue aluminum dial adorned with laser-engraved waves, paired with a Grade 5 titanium bezel. In contrast, the Spectre version embraces an air of mystery with its blackened, grained dial, black ceramic bezel, and a far more stealthy aesthetic. These two watches share the exact same architecture, yet a few details are enough to radically alter their character.

Common to both versions, the 42 mm diameter steel case measures 14.23 mm in thickness and offers water resistance up to 300 meters. A screw-down crown, helium escape valve, unidirectional rotating bezel, and domed sapphire crystal complete the specifications of this genuine diver’s watch. Meanwhile, the satin-finished steel Milanese bracelet reinforces the timepiece’s technical aesthetic.
Same caliber, two signatures
Visible through a sapphire crystal caseback, the Omega calibre 8806 a self-winding movement featuring the Co-Axial escapement is certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS (the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology). Equipped with a silicon balance spring, it is resistant to magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss. Offering a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, the movement features a rhodium-plated finish with arabesque Geneva waves, however, the rotor serves as the true canvas for expressing these two distinct themes. On the James Bond model, a gun-barrel design appears on the sun-brushed rotor, whereas on the Spectre edition, the organization’s logo takes its place sandblasted and finished with a black PVD coating.

And for collectors, the box sets
For those struggling to choose a side, Omega has created two limited-edition sets dedicated to the two entities. Each set is limited to 77 numbered pieces. These exquisite boxes house two watches: a steel version on a Milanese bracelet and a second in platinum on a leather strap. These ultra collectible models feature a polished ceramic bezel with a platinum diving scale and an 18K white gold dial.

The “Bond” model features a blue gradient dial decorated with a gun-barrel pattern, while the “Spectre” opts for a dark grey dial adorned with an octopus motif. In both instances, the rotor incorporates 18K Moonshine™ gold for the emblem. Finally, the presentation boxes round out the experience with an additional NATO strap, cufflinks, a cord bracelet, a loupe, a travel case, and a leather card holder. The legendary spy’s full kit is finally available.
