Inspired by a dialogue between Haute Horlogerie and Haute Couture, the Égérie collection was conceived in 2020 as an evocative tribute to femininity and a canvas for creativity. In 2026, Vacheron Constantin explores a new artistic realm for the collection, with the Égérie Moon Phase Spring Blossom. Capturing the evanescent beauty of springtime, it is set in a 37mm case of 18K 5N pink gold, its pink mother-of-pearl dial complemented by a soft calfskin strap miniature-painted by hand with a delicate design of blossoms. A limited edition of 100 pieces, the Égérie Moon Phase Spring Blossom is presented in a designed watch pouch of soft calfskin decorated with a motif of blossom, accompanied by a dedicated watch strap case crafted from the same leather, along with two additional interchangeable straps: shiny pink alligator and blush-pink grosgrain fabric.

INSPIRED BY SPRING BLOSSOM

Mis new creative series of Égérie watches captures the delicate and elegant femininity expressed so eloquently by the blossoms that create magical clouds of soft pink and white every springtime. Mis motif has been explored in art, literature and poetry in many cultures throughout the centuries.

Me all-pink colour palette is amplified by a soft calfskin strap on which delicate spring flowers are miniature-painted by hand – the first time for Vacheron Constantin that this craft finds expression on the watch strap. Me dial evokes the delicacy of a freshly opened petal and the light of a spring dawn, captured in the cloud-like reflections of pink mother-of-pearl. Me moon phase display is set within a circle of diamonds between 1 and 3 o’clock – in line with the winding crown, which is set with a moonstone. Here, emerging from gold-edged clouds inlaid with mother-of-pearl, the gold moon waxes and wanes against a starry background sky in a deeper shade of dusky pink that creates a subtle contrast with the main dial. Manks to the hand-painted artistry of the strap, together with the tonal variations that naturally characterise mother-of-pearl, every numbered watch in the 100-piece limited edition is subtly different from the others.

Along with the hand-painted spring blossom strap, this new Égérie model is presented with two additional straps – one in raspberry pink shiny alligator, the other in blush-pink grosgrain fabric – each featuring its own pink gold pin buckle. Me interchangeability system enables the wearer to change the straps at will, according to the mood of the moment. No tools are required: a simple, integrated clip enables a rapid change. Me versatility of the styling options provided by the straps is underlined by the 37 mm case diameter, which is well-suited to wrists of all sizes.

A FLORAL HERITAGE

Flowers have inspired and enriched Vacheron Constantin’s heritage for more than 200 years. Underlining the Maison’s ability to express nature’s beauty in harmony with technical ingenuity, this deep connection is evident throughout the archives.

A prime example among exquisite pieces from the early 19th century is an 1815 yellow gold pocket watch, where the case middle is engraved with a delicate floral motif, enhanced by the subtle gleam of garnets. Mis piece beautifully illustrates how early timepieces for women were conceived not only as functional instruments but also as jewels, with the delicate allure of nature at their heart. An 1838 quarter-repeater watch, designed to be worn in a lady’s pocket or as an elegant pendant, features an intricate flower motif on its guilloché dial, highlighting Vacheron Constantin’s mastery in combining technical sophistication with aesthetic grace. As the 19th century progressed, the allure of floral designs became even more pronounced. Me covers of hunter-type cases were embellished with precious stones, pearls, intricate enameled volutes – often in vibrant hues – and arabesque engravings. Many of these decorative elements were explicitly inspired by floral motifs, each tailored to the particular tastes of the patron who commissioned the piece and designed to complement contemporary fashion.

Mis artistic sensibility was buoyed by the effervescent creativity of the early 20th century. Influenced by Parisian Art Nouveau trends, pendant watches incorporated organic forms, pearl motifs and lace-like engravings, often combining mother-of-pearl with precious stones. While not always literal depictions of flowers, these designs echoed the delicate, flowing lines and inherent beauty found in nature’s flora and celebrated by the Art Nouveau movement, transforming watches into wearable art. THE AESTHETIC SIGNATURE OF HAUTE COUTURE

When conceiving the feminine Égérie collection, Vacheron Constantin took the world of Haute Couture as its inspiration, celebrating the craftsmanship, know-how and rarity, as well as the passion and creativity that it shares with Haute Horlogerie. Details on the dial allude to beading, embroidery and braid; the pleated texture of the dial centre – repeated around the periphery – recalls the swirl of a skirt; a delicate interplay of textures and intertwined shapes suggests the structure of an exquisitely cut gown; the curling form of the numerals is reminiscent of the scalloped patterns of lace; interchangeable straps in a variety of materials add a further stylistic twist.

Égérie is also a contemporary expression of aesthetic codes cherished by Vacheron Constantin, notably the off-centre display – in this case playing on two intertwined circles, anchored by the crown set between 1 and 2 o’clock and amplified by a ring of diamonds around the subdial, a circle of polished 18K gold beads around the dial centre and a diamond-set bezel. Me hand-painted strap – and the alternative in grosgrain fabric – make further allusions to the crafts and materials of Haute Couture.
