The Classics Manchette embraces gold and onyx in a chic, eye-catching new iteration

To mark its first birthday, the Classics Manchette now comes in a gold-coloured version. The glam- rock icon by Frederique Constant sports a full-black onyx dial, a precious feature that lends the watch exquisitely stark contrast. Beautiful yet rebellious. More elegant and glamorous than ever thanks to its gold colour, and with a radical touch provided by its mineral dial. In a word: electrifying!

The Classics Manchette from the Geneva-based manufacturer offers a sexy, glam-rock spin on the "wristwatch", in its most literal sense. A cuff-like strap with the faceted "Clou de Paris" motif repeated throughout, whose square shape matches that of the dial. A bold timepiece that rewrites the rules and balances "Swiss Made" elegance with unprecedented rock'n'roll style.

The new watch unveiled today is designed to bring a touch of provocative radiance to the collection. Against the new gold colour, the full-black onyx dial offers vivid, piercing contrast with its raw minerality. The striking interplay of light and shadow makes it easier to read the hour and minute hands on the monochrome dial.

The Maison currently has some 3,000 points of sale in 120 countries worldwide. In 2016, the Frederique Constant group (Frederique Constant, Alpina Watches, Ateliers deMonaco) joined the Japanese group Citizen, so as to pursue its international development and nurture new synergies.
