Out of frame and off the dial, Gabrielle Chanel plays with the rules of watchmaking andis captured in her most iconic pose. In a white tweed suit trimmed with black, her hand slipped into the pocket, she looks at the time that appears under her gaze. Entirely adorned with diamonds, the tweed pattern is created thanks to the "tweed setting" technique. Several tests and the expertise of two experienced setters from the CHANEL Watch Manufacture were required to reproduce this woven effect. Sculpted in white gold from a living model, the silhouette of Mademoiselle frees itself from time through a game of volumes and textures, emerging from the dial to assert her presence.
