- THE DANDY SLIM
From the Marquis de Montesquiou to Sacha Guitry and Marcel Proust, since the 19th century Chaumet has won over the dandies of fashion, art and literature.
Bearing witness to this history, the Dandy collection proclaims this very special attitude made up of elegance, charm and impertinence. Both a watch for the evening and a masculine jewel, it combines traditional watchmaking excellence with the boldness of fashion.
In 2012, Chaumet launches two new Dandy editions whose Swiss movement, the self-winding CP12V-VIII Zenith Elite 681 for Chaumet, was designed to be fitted in a “slim” case (8.50 mm thick).
Recognizable by its strong design, cushion-shaped case and quirky colored stripe on the strap, this season the Dandy Slim is dressed in red- in honor of the year of the Dragon- or blue, stylishly displaying its wheel-shaped seconds hand at 9 o’clock.

Here the Dandy Slim combines a black opaline dial with “Dandy” blue for the lacquered cabochon of the crown, the wheel-shaped seconds hand and the satin of the strap.
