Each detail of OMEGA’s Hour Vision Co-Axial Skeleton Platinum Limited Edition proclaims that this is a timepiece created by a watchmaker working at horology’s cutting edge.
Start with the 41 mm outer case. It is crafted from 950 platinum and it has a 360° transparent sapphire casebody set inside it, allowing unobstructed views of both sides of the exclusive OMEGA Co-Axial calibre 8403 which drives this extraordinary watch. Equipped with a silicon balance spring, the watch is delivered with a four-year warranty.
The striking sapphire dial has a blackened brushed and polished grooved hour track which features the legend “Limited Edition”. There are diamond-polished 18 Ct white gold applied indexes.
The movement at the heart of this masterpiece is fitted with OMEGA’s revolutionary Co-Axial escapement on three levels. There is also a time zone function which allows the independent adjustment of the hour hand – ideal for travellers who wish to adjust the time without stopping the watch. The OMEGA Co-Axial calibre 8403 has polished screws and an 18 Ct gold rotor with a sapphire plate metallised with the OMEGA logo, the name of the calibre and the limited edition number (00/88). Its appearance is enhanced by the fact that non-essential material from the plates and bridges has been sawn away, giving it a unique “skeletonized” essence.
