Hampton, the icon watch by Baume & Mercier, is celebrating its 15th birthday in 2009 with a brand-new collection. Created in 1994, the Hampton model overturned existing watchmaking codes with its rectangular steel case, and became an instant best-seller. Inspired by a rectangular pink gold watch introduced by Baume & Mercier in 1960, the Hampton collection has evolved through numerous variations. Whether curved or square, it has always succeeded in preserving its identity, consisting in a blend of watchmaking tradition and contemporary design.
INNOVATIVE DESIGN
The new Hampton collection features three different identities: Hampton Classic, Hampton Manchette and Hampton magnum. The Classic design confirms the pure elegance of the original Hampton model, with a redesigned rectangular case featuring flowing, contemporary lines. The Classic watches come in several masculine and feminine versions and new sizes.
