The Swiss watchmaker celebrates its enduring bond with one of the world’s largest multi-sport events by introducing a special edition HydroConquest. Limited to 2,026 pieces in each of its two available sizes and bearing the vibrant colours of the Games, this inspirational timepiece captures the spirit of athletic excellence and sporty elegance that has defined the partnership since 1962.

When the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games open on 23 July, some 3,000 athletes from 74 nations and territories will compete across 10 sports in one of the world’s most welcoming cities – including the largest Parasport programme in Commonwealth Games history. Longines will be there to ensure that every fraction of a second counts, just as it has since its first role as Official Timekeeper at the 1962 Perth Games in Australia. To celebrate this longstanding relationship, the Swiss watchmaker presents a limited-edition HydroConquest that bears the colours of Glasgow 2026, as the Official Watch of the Games.

The colours of the Games

Since its launch in 2007, the HydroConquest collection has embodied Longines’ distinctive blend of adventure and sporty elegance. For 2026, the line was redesigned with a reworked bezel, new dial variations, new ceramic bezel colours, and the introduction of a Milanese mesh bracelet.

It is on this new-generation platform that the Commonwealth Games 2026 limited edition is built, drawing its visual identity directly from the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games logo. The gradient lacquered dial transitions from vibrant teal to deep black, creating a striking sense of depth, while the “HydroConquest” inscription appears in violet – a tribute to the dynamic identity of the Games. A pink-tipped seconds hand completes this colourful trio, echoing the logo’s primary palette of teal, pink, and violet.

Rhodium-plated hands, and applied indexes, both treated with Super-LumiNova®, ensure exceptional legibility in all conditions. The black ceramic bezel insert features numerals in a matching teal tone, tying the design together, while a Super-LumiNova® filled capsule at the “0” position offers reliable visibil-ity even in low light. Together, these elements create a watch that is unmistakably a HydroConquest and a true celebration of Glasgow 2026.

Precision meets endurance

The round stainless-steel case, available in 39-mm and 42-mm diameters, is fitted with a sapphire crystal with multi-layer anti-reflective coating on both sides and a screw-in crown. It is water resistant up to 30 bar (300 metres). At its heart beats the Longines exclusive calibre L888.5, a self-winding mechanical movement with a silicon balance-spring that delivers exceptional accuracy and a power reserve of up to 72 hours.

Its resistance to magnetic fields exceeds ISO 764 standards by a factor of 10, offering a significant advantage for modern timepieces regularly exposed to everyday magnetic interference.

The screw-down case back is engraved with the official Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games logo and the inscription ‘LIMITED EDITION – ONE OF 2026 – commonwealth games GLASGOW 2026’, making each piece a lasting memento of this prestigious sporting event. Designed with active performance in mind, the watch is presented on a high-quality, Swiss-made black rubber strap chosen for its comfort, durability and lightweight feel on the wrist. A double-folding safety clasp with micro-adjustment mechanism ensures a secure, personalised fit in every environment.

Glasgow 2026 will also deliver the largest Parasport programme in Commonwealth Games history, featur-ing 47 medal events across six Parasport disciplines, fully integrated across the competition schedule.
