DESCRIPTION

  • Lightweight, multifaceted, and featuring a new dial design, three new titanium creations join the King Seiko VANAC series.

In 1972, King Seiko introduced the VANAC, a series with bold expressions of vibrant colors and innovative, multifaceted designs. Last year, the VANAC series returned to the collection with a sporty new aesthetic, preserving the spirit of the original while adopting a new automatic movement. Today, three new VANAC models are presented in titanium, blending strength and corrosion resistance with lightweight comfort, further elevating the dynamic character of the series.

A bold yet practical sports watch

The new titanium creations retain the distinctive case design of the VANAC series, known for its bold facets, dynamic angularity, and bezel-less construction that creates an elegant and slender profile. The bracelet, which flows seamlessly from the case, is composed of short links to create beautiful horizontal lines.

Extensive mirror-polished surfaces are accented by brushed finishing on the case and bracelet. With titanium’s darker tone, the contrast between polished and brushed areas is heightened to emphasize the dynamic and sporty design.

Approximately 40% lighter than stainless steel, titanium delivers remarkable wearability. Its inherent lightness, combined with a three-fold clasp for the bracelet, ensures exceptional comfort and security on the wrist, even during active wear.

Powering this creation is Seiko’s latest mechanical movement, Caliber 8L45, which offers a power reserve of approximately 72 hours and an accuracy of +10 to -5 seconds per day. Beyond its precision, it was engineered to have the robustness and other qualities demanded of movements that power modern-day mechanical sports watches. Built on a foundation of practicality and performance, the watch retains its dynamic and striking character, making it a perfect fusion of strength, elegance, and versatility.

A new dial design offered in three variations

The indexes, filled with Lumibrite for enhanced legibility, are mounted on a three-dimensional ring embedded in the dial's surface.

The dial design draws inspiration from Tokyo’s cityscape stretching across the horizon and the exhilarating sense of speed that pulses through the metropolis. The new dial pattern combines horizontal lines with others that radiate from the center to evoke the invigorating dynamism of driving along one of Tokyo’s highways toward its expansive skyline.

Offered with three color variations – purple, gray, and black – the dials are complemented by the subdued, natural tone of titanium. Each color channels the scenes reflected in the driver’s eyes: the serene horizon at dawn, the modern beauty of the urban highway, and the hurtling speed of moving through Tokyo at night.

These three creations will join the King Seiko collection as continuous production models, available from July 2026 at the Seiko Boutiques and select retail partners worldwide.
