Chopard’s new L.U.C Twist in 18ct rose or white gold endowed with a 1.96 L.U.C calibre is a blend of innovation, design and elegance. The original features of this model include its off-centred crown at the 4 o’clock position, as well as its small seconds at 7 o’clock.
Some watches immediately capture one’s attention and the new L.U.C Twist with its monochrome dial, off-centred display and crown specially placed at 4 o’clock definitely falls in this category.
If the display of the hours and the minutes - Dauphine hands in white gold on a black dial or in rose gold on a silver dial depending on the model – is at the centre, the small seconds display is placed at 7 o’clock. The meticulous mechanism of the L.U.C 1.96 calibre bridges, decorated in straight Côtes de Genève design and golden engraving, can be seen through its sapphire crystal case back. At the heart of an 18ct white or rose gold case with a diameter of 41mm beats a movement equipped with a power reserve of approximately 65 hours, thanks to L.U.C Twin technology and its two stacked barrels. Faithful to the tradition of manufacture, this self-winding mechanical movement successfully passed all precision and reliability testing imposed by the COSC. It also bears the famous Poinçon de Genève seal. With its superior mechanism and original display, there is no doubt that the new L.U.C Twist will definitely turn heads.
