- Luminor Power Reserve
The power reserve is a complication much appreciated by connoisseurs and enthusiasts of haute horlogerie.
It enables the wearer to check, at any moment, the amount of time remaining before the movement needs to be wound again, by reading the appropriate indicator on the dial.
This function is based on a transmission device by which the winding of the spring barrel and the rotation of the movement are linked by an indicator showing the power reserve. The display changes little by little as the spring transmits the stored energy to the train of the movement.
In the Luminor Power Reserve this complex horological function is controlled by an exclusive automatic mechanical movement: the Panerai calibre OP IX.
The Panerai Luminor Power Reserve watch is available with a 44 mm and 40 mm diameter case.
