Oris Social Club Edition II

The world comes together

It brings us deep joy to celebrate the international Oris Social Club community with the Oris Social Club Edition II. This is the second piece we’ve created in partnership with Oris Social Club members, but the first that unifies the 62 chapters that have now sprung up around the world in a single watch design. It’s based on the Aquis Date Relief 43.50 mm, one of our most sought-after dive watches. Naturally, it’s a very special piece. The dial has a unique frosted silver finish, chosen to evoke the fingerprint of a community that comes together as friends to build meaningful relationships and (sometimes) to talk about watches. The stainless steel uni-directional rotating bezel insert carries over the minutes scale in relief from the design the watch is based on, while the watch is set on an olive green NATO strap, the first time we’ve presented an Aquis Date on a NATO in more than a decade. Then there are a number of touches that Oris Social Club members will appreciate. Every first of the month, the Oris Bear appears winking in the date window, while the case back is engraved with an outline of our factory in Hölstein and the lettering “OSC | INT”, markings that distinguish the watch’s international genesis. Still in place are the lumed hands, the screw-down crown with protection, the Swiss Made automatic mechanical movement, and water resistance to 30 bar (300 metres). Each piece we make will symbolise the special bond between Oris and Oris Social Club members.
