Oris is pleased to introduce the Big Crown Pointer Date with a black dial. At Watches and Wonders Geneva 2025, Oris captured the imagination of the watch-buying public with the release of this refreshed icon, which featured a 40.00 mm stainless steel case wrapped around a series of brightly coloured dials. This year, this sporty expression of our signature design returns, this time with a simple, classic, timeless black dial. Black remains a hugely popular choice of dial colour, largely because of its subtlety and versatility: black goes with just about everything. Our customers loved the joy of the colourful dials, while many also asked whether we would add a black-dialled version. One of the many benefits of being an independent company is that we can maintain a dialogue with our customers – and act quickly on their feedback. And so here it is, the Big Crown Pointer Date with a black dial. Still in place are the oversized crown and pointer date complication that give the watch its name, as are the pure, balanced case design and gently tapered stainless steel H-link bracelet with brushed and polished links. On the inside, one of the sturdiest mechanical movements in watchmaking, the automatic Oris Calibre 754. An icon made more timeless still.
