OYSTER PERPETUAL SUBMARINER DATE
In 2008, Rolex launched the Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date, a new version of its legendary divers’ watch.
The Submariner case has been redesigned and is fitted with a unidirectional rotatable bezel with a Cerachrom insert – black or blue for the yellow gold version and blue for the white gold version. An insert in either colour is available for the yellow Rolesor version. All models are equipped with a 120-notch anti-reverse click system.
Waterproof to a depth of 300 metres (1,000 feet), the Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date is certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). The movement is equipped with a Parachrom hairspring, highly resistant to shocks and magnetic fields.
The bracelet is fitted with the new Glidelock clasp.
