The Day Date is the most prestigious watch in the Oyster collection. Produced exclusively in precious metal, it indicates the date, but also displays the day of the week, with all its letters and in a choice of 26 languages.
The Rolex Day-Date was the first wristwatch in the world to offer this special feature.
If you turn the Day Date’s Twinlock crown to the first notch and turn it in one direction you increase the date. If you turn it in the other direction, you can scroll through the days of the week.
The Day-Date II, a bigger, bolder and altogether contemporary version of the classic Rolex Day-Date, clocks in at a handsome 41 mm. Its movement is equipped with a Parachrom hairspring, highly resistant to shocks and magnetic fields, as well as new Paraflex shock absorbers. Both features contribute to the watch’s superlative chronometric precision and remarkable reliability.
The Day-Date II, quintessence of Rolex savoir-faire, has a case crafted from a block of 18 ct white gold and a bezel set with baguette-cut diamonds.
