GREEN STONE DIAL

Novel and charming

On the lacquer dial of the Oyster Perpetual 28, three of the hour markers – those at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock – are in natural stone, a first for Rolex.

The heliotrope presents a variety of green hues and features an ogive cut on its upper surface, which highlights its individual structure and colour while preventing the slightest reflection.

By operating its own exclusive foundry, Rolex has the unrivalled ability to cast the highest quality 18 ct gold alloys. According to the proportion of silver, copper, platinum or palladium added, different types of 18 ct gold are obtained: yellow, pink or white.

Unveiled in 2020, calibre 2232 is a new- generation self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. Fitted with a Syloxi hairspring in silicon, patented, it offers a superlative level of chronometric performance.
