- RADIOMIR 8 DAYS TITANIO - 45 MM - PANERAI P. 2002 CALIBRE
P. 2002
The P.2002 calibre, the first movement developed by Officine Panerai, combines the best of Italian creativity and tradition with Swiss technical knowledge. The power reserve enabling the watch to run for 8 days without winding was inspired by the Angelus movement of the 1940s. This is achieved through a motor organ of new design consisting of three spring barrels and linear power reserve indication. The system for setting the time uses the seconds reset device. This device stops the balance and the seconds hand which returns to zero when the winding crown is pulled out, facilitating accurate setting and correct synchronisation with the time signal being used as a reference.
Made up of 245 components, the P.2002 is a hand-wound calibre with GMT function, with a diameter of 13 ¾ lignes and a balance wheel oscillating at a frequency of 4 Hz.
