Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin Openworked

TWO NEW OPENWORKED MODELS ENRICH THE ROYAL OAK COLLECTION WITH TONE-ON-TONE AESTHETICS

Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacturer Audemars Piguet is pleased to unveil two new openworked creations within the Royal Oak collection. Each reflecting the brand’s commitment to aesthetic diversity and mechanical refinement, these timepieces showcase a tone-on-tone aesthetic that extends seamlessly from case to movement.

The 39 mm Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin Openworked pairs the lightness of titanium with Bulk Metallic Glass (BMG), a material renowned for its exceptional brilliance and resistance to scratches. This distinctive case is complemented by the rhodium-toned Calibre 7124, whose openworked architecture offers a captivating view of its intricate mechanism. Blackened hour-markers and hands in 18-carat white gold, filled with luminescent material, add a touch of contrast, while the integrated bracelet matching the case completes the design.

In contrast, the 37 mm Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked is entirely crafted in 18-carat yellow gold. The warm tones of the case and bracelet extend to the dial, which gives centre stage to the gold-toned openworked Calibre 3132. This patented movement features the double balance wheel mechanism released by the Manufacture in 2016, enhancing both precision and stability. Silver-grey luminescent hour-markers and hands ensure optimal readability. On the back of the watch, the sapphire caseback reveals the golden oscillating weight completing the watch’s monochromatic harmony.
