OMEGA Extends the Speedmaster 38 mm Collection

Biel/Bienne, August 25, 2026 - OMEGA presents a sophisticated evolution of the Speedmaster 38 mm collection, as seven new references are revealed. Through subtle refinements and new colour variations, the updated watches embrace a contemporary approach to design, while bringing the Speedmaster 38 mm even closer to the aesthetic codes of the legendary Moonwatch.

Notable updates include rounded subdials, which replace the previous oval subdials, helping to sharpen the sporty character of the collection. Meanwhile, there is now less wording on the dial to create a cleaner look, and the bezels return to a thicker style with the essential Dot-Over-Ninety that is synonymous with the Moonwatch.

Each reference is also presented on a Moonwatch-style bracelet with five links. The central links of each bracelet are either polished or brushed, depending on the model.

Two Calibres

At the heart of the collection sit two self-winding Co-Axial movements. The Calibre 3330 powers the six references with date functions, while the Calibre 3332 is used exclusively for the seventh Black Dial reference with no date.

The Choices

STEEL ON STEEL

Black dial

This model is most closely aligned with the signature look of the Moonwatch. It features a black aluminium bezel, a black varnished dial with matt finish, and hands and indexes that are filled with white Super-LumiNova. As well as housing the Co-Axial Calibre 3332, the bracelet reveals three brushed rows, and two rows of smaller polished links.

White dial

This model has a blue ceramic bezel with its tachymeter scale in white enamel. The lacquered white dial is contrasted by hands and indexes with a blue CVD coating – the same shade that appears on the numerals in the date window.

Silvery dial

A design that is distinguished by a warm grey aluminium bezel and an opaline silvery PVD dial with Sedna™ Gold PVD hands and baton-style indexes that are filled with white Super-LumiNova. A mix of brown and Sedna™ Gold PVD hands appear in the subdials.

BICOLOUR MODELS

Silvery opaline dial

This model features a stainless steel case with a polished 18K Moonshine™ Gold bezel, as well as a green aluminium bezel ring and yellow gold tachymeter scale. The silvery opaline PVD dial reveals Moonshine™ Gold PVD hands and baton-style indexes, all enhanced with white Super-LumiNova. The small links of the bracelet are crafted in 18K Moonshine™ Gold.

Ivory dial

Building on the signature “cappuccino” style within the Speedmaster 38 mm collection, this model features an ivory-colour main dial with contrasting brown PVD coated subdials. The case of the watch is made in stainless steel and is mounted by a polished 18K Sedna™ Gold bezel and brown aluminium bezel ring. The small links of the bracelet are crafted in 18K Sedna™ Gold.

DIAMOND-SET BEZELS

Ice blue or mother-of-pearl dials

To infuse the collection with sparkling light, two models are available with 52 diamonds on the bezel, totalling 1.53 carats. The first version features an ice blue PVD coated dial, while the second model offers the purity of a white mother-of-pearl dial. Both feature rhodium-plated hands and baton-shaped indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova.
