- A combination of glamour and sport, JEANRICHARD’S latest Diverscope JR1000 Goldwaters audaciously blends pink gold and rubber. Equipped with an in-house manufactured movement and water-resistant to 300 metres, this watch is made for extreme conditions and unforgettable discoveries.
With the new Diverscope JR1000 Goldwaters, the Manufacture JEANRICHARD has chosen to launch a watch combining a traditional and precious metal with a modern material. The crowns are in pink gold, whilst both case and bezel are in stainless steel coated with vulcanised rubber. The last fifteen minutes of the diving time can be checked on the golden part of the internal rotating bezel.
Vulcanised rubber is one kind of rubber developed initially by the automobile industry to increase the resistance of car tyres to major temperature variations. It has since been used to design high-tech equipment like professional diving masks. Vulcanised rubber properties give tremendous stability to any kind of shape made from it. It does not scratch and is highly resistant to abrasion and UV rays. Thanks to the density of the rubber and the use of components in titanium, more than 10% is saved on the weight of the watch. JEANRICHARD demonstrates its attention to detail by enhancing the beauty of the Diverscope JR1000 Goldwaters with a sandblasted finishing. This final step towards ultimate refinement produces a perfectly uniform rubber surface for both case and bezel, resulting in a soft and satin finish.
Like all the other watches of the brand, the Diverscope JR1000 Goldwaters is equipped with JEANRICHARD’S in-house manufactured calibre, entirely developed and produced in its own workshops. Designed as much for diving enthusiasts as for individuals who like casual but distinctive design at the same time, the Diverscope JR1000 Goldwaters is water-resistant to 300 metres. This performance is made possible thanks to the use of special components, such as screwed crowns or its sapphire crystal which is two and a half times thicker than standard. Each watch is tested extensively.
With this new model, JEANRICHARD has paid attention to the finest details, both in terms of technique and design. In the dark as in deep waters, luminescent indexes and Arabic numerals illuminate the dial to make it more legible. The two pink gold crowns have clear and distinct functions. The crown at 3 o’clock activates the hour and minute as well as the date setting; the crown at 9 o’clock is linked intrinsically to diving, as it controls the positioning of the bidirectional bezel - adjusting this ring on the case records the remaining diving time. The crowns are screwed for safety reasons. Each watch comes with two straps, one in rubber and one in rubber-coated alligator.
