Louis Vuitton presents a Regatta watch that has been tailored to the demands of the latest America’s Cup World Series.
Whilst at first glance, this Tambour Regatta seems to share the spirit of the Maison’s regatta watches with its large window divided into several sectors for viewing the progress of the countdown, it turns out to be very different.
Powered by a self-winding mechanical calibre, it offers an unprecedented 5-minute countdown to adhere to the new America’s Cup rules. Once a countdown to 10 minutes, the rules of the Americas Cup allows the defender to change these timings as they wish and for the 34th series the current defender has requested a five minute countdown… A strong and exclusive piece of watchmaking expertise.
