For 230 years Chaumet has been producing sentimental jewellery, every single creation combines the jeweller’s know-how and outstanding movements for inspirational watches.
Class One Collection
Precious checkerboard
Two High Jewellery Class One watches are set with white diamonds together with black diamonds or blue sapphires in a checkerboard pattern. The jewel layout is an exceptional achievement: the gemstones are calibrated and cut to size in order to be adapted to the shape of the dial and the curves of the watchcase. The calibration of the stones calls for highly specialised setting techniques with semi-invisible settings. The automatic movement has an oscillating mass decorated with guilloché natural mother-of-pearl visible through the sapphire glass one the case back.
