Boucheron, the first jeweller to have chosen Place Vendôme for its premises, owes much of its success to women who have been ardent admirers of its inspired creations. Boucheron started creating its first wristwatches for women in the late 19th century. The lady’s watch - a symbol of emancipation - soon became a must-have fashion accessory. Boucheron, the jeweller of precious times, reinvents the jewelry watch exclusively for women. A timepiece in Boucheron’s very latest jewellery line: the Ma Jolie watch draws its inspiration from the codes of Fifties glamour and femininity. It evokes days when beauty meant sophistication and dazzle, and sensuality meant power of seduction with plenty of drama.
Today, many women covet a return to a light and assumed femininity, searching for a simple, refined aesthetic. On either side of the small round case, illuminated with diamonds and reminiscent of a dainty powder compact, two delicate and precious-looking powder puffs twirl.
