The Oyster Perpetual LADY-DATEJUST PEARLMASTER was born under the sign of elegance and sensuality. Designed to be adorned with precious stones, it provides a magnificent setting for the feminine qualities of the OYSTER.
A new feminine interpretation of Rolex’s emblematic DATEJUST, the PEARLMASTER stood out from its launch in 1992 thanks to its delicate, gently rounded lines and its audacious allure. Set with diamonds, it enchants the modern woman with its luxurious refinement, its qualities and its sophisticated technical features.
Gold and precious stones
Available only in 18 ct yellow, white or EVEROSE gold, the PEARLMASTER is always set with diamonds. The gracious shape of its 29 mm case, slightly larger than the classic 26 mm LADY-DATEJUST, is noble and distinguished. Its broad bezel glitters with gems of generous proportions, baguette- or brilliant-cut and sometimes in individual settings. In their
sumptuous gold showcase, the gemstones, carefully selected by Rolex, illuminate the watch with their sparkle.

The OYSTER case, symbol of waterproofness
The incomparable grace of the PEARLMASTER is equalled by the technical attributes that it has in common with all OYSTER watches. Its case, guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 metres (330 feet), is a paragon of proportion and elegance. The fluted case back is hermetically screwed down with a special tool exclusive to Rolex watchmakers. The winding crown, fitted with the patented TWINLOCK double waterproofness system, screws down securely against the case. The crystal, with a CYCLOPS lens at 3 o’clock for easy reading of the date, is made of virtually scratchproof synthetic sapphire. The waterproof OYSTER case provides the PEARLMASTER’s high-precision movement with efficient protection from water, dust, pressure and shocks.
Calibre 2235, a superlative chronometer
The PEARLMASTER is equipped with calibre 2235, a self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. Like all Rolex PERPETUAL movements, the 2235 is a certified Swiss chronometer, a designation reserved for high-precision watches that have successfully passed the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) tests. Its architecture, like that of all OYSTER watch movements, makes it singularly reliable.
The oscillator, the true heart of the watch, has a balance wheel with variable inertia regulated extremely precisely with gold MICROSTELLA nuts. It is held firmly in place by a height-adjustable traversing bridge enabling very stable positioning to increase shock resistance. The hairspring is equipped with a Breguet overcoil enhancing the isochronism of the oscillations.
Calibre 2235 is fitted with a self-winding module featuring a PERPETUAL rotor, which ensures continuous winding of the mainspring by harnessing the movements of the wrist to provide a constant source of energy.
The PEARLMASTER’s movement will only be seen by certified Rolex watchmakers, yet it is beautifully finished and decorated in keeping with the brand’s uncompromising quality standards.
