Here is a bag that in my opinion will become the it-bag for the 2020 Autumn / Winter season. Not only is the new Dior Bobby bag stunning, it is also a subtle tribute to Christian Dior’s dog. A quite important pet since the illustrious couturier used to baptize some of his creations promised to success after his faithful companion.
A true everyday essential, the new Dior Bobby bag is available in three sizes (small, medium and large) and in several timeless colors. Black, cream, camel, denim blue, grey or blue “Dior Oblique” jacquard canvas – the iconic and my favorite! – all versions are seductive and perfectly embody the Dior style.

Proudly showing off the trademark style of the Maison Dior – “CD” initials in gold on the front and Parisian address “30 Montaigne” on the back, this piece of leather goods is shaped like a half-moon. With its generous and delicate curves, the Bobby bag can be carried on the shoulder, “crossbody” or by hand thanks to its matching removable shoulder straps.
Deliberately couture, the different versions are entirely designed in Dior’s Florentine workshops using demanding and precise artisan techniques. This series of leather goods is made with box calfskin of great nobility, which refined grain and smoothness of touch guarantee remarkable end results. The leather pieces are then assembled and sewn by hand, one by one. A small detail but not the least: the tone on tone “30 Montaigne” signature is delicately embossed here.

Ultra modern and minimalist, the Dior Bobby bag is in the image of Maria Grazia Chiuri. Artistic director of the Christian Dior Women’s collections since 2016, the Italian designer is the first woman to hold this position since the creation of the House in 1946.
Taking the fashion world by storm, the stylist imposes her feminist touch through her creations. Indeed, sue is behind the now famous cape worn by Natalie Portman at the Oscars. The actress is also regularly dressed by the Maison for official ceremonies.
