Cartier Care: Taking Customer Service to a Whole New Level

Cartier is stepping up its game in order to meet its increasingly demanding clientele. Which is why it has launched Cartier Care, a new digital platform that not only comprises personalized advice, new services and other benefits, but also an eight-year-long extended warranty for your watch. All in all, promises of a very personal and unique experience.

The Maison has been combining excellence with know-how since 1847, and its impeccable service quality is embodied by the famous Cartier Grooms dressed in red. Reflecting French luxury and refinement, the company is famed around the world for its diverse creations as well as for knowing how to fulfil its clients’ desires. As a result, Cartier cares to be more responsive to customer concerns, and wants to please its loyal, but demanding clientele. Which calls for a real commitment from Cartier, who is constantly seeking better methods to satisfy the expectations of both its regular and aspiring customers. In 2017, the Panthère de Cartier wristwatch perfectly illustrated this continuous service improvement. The owner was offered a complimentary battery change, brightening, and full technical checks. And the following year, clients owning a timepiece from the old Santos 100 models were offered a full complimentary check for free, along with the installation of a demagnetization device to celebrate the launch of the new Santos de Cartier

This year, the ‘Jeweller of Kings, King of Jewellers’ revamps its loyalty program with a new online service. Following registration, the ‘Cartier Care’ digital platform introduces new services and initiatives. ‘Cartier Care is what innovation means to Cartier: moving forward, exploring new territories, new techniques, to better serve our clients and elevate their personal experience with our Maison to the next level,’ International Marketing and Communication Director of Cartier International Arnaud Carrez explains.

Through this exclusive program, Cartier is now offering size adjustment and maintenance of their watches for free. New personalization services such as engraving clients’ handwriting are also available.

For some eligible pieces, Cartier can also replace the battery with a new-gen set guaranteeing an autonomy of up to 6 years (instead of just three). Eligible clients for this procedure will be contacted within the upcoming year in order to benefit from it. But the company is innovating, and explores the possibility to buy old timepieces back from their clients, enabling them to acquire creations from the latest collections.

Last but not least, clients can register their timepieces on this new digital platform and get up to eight years of International Limited Warranty. New models and timepieces under the initial two-year warranty will also be eligible for an extension upon online registration.

Cartier Care will gradually reunite all the brand’s product universes into a single online platform: jewellery, luxury leather goods and accessories. Registering one’s watch on Cartier Care will result in benefits from diverse services, such as personalized information, offers and advice (including in-store maintenance service, and bespoke care advice on one’s personal collection).
