DESCRIPTION
NEW CHIFFRE ROUGE TIMEPIECES
A tribute to Dior’s heritage, the Chiffre Rouge collection is magnified by the House’s emblematic codes. This line of exceptional watches with a couture spirit asserts its audacity through architectural asymmetry – one side of the case is subtly tapered – and is distinguished by a seconds hand in red: “the colour of life,” according to Christian Dior.
The number eight – the founding-couturier’s favourite number – is also highlighted in this vibrant hue on the date display, like a fabulous lucky charm reappearing each month.
Once again this year, Chiffre Rouge has been renewed as a result of three exclusive models. Redesigned with a modern twist, two 41mm chronographs feature a top-to-bottom midnight blue allure, accented by a rose gold bezel and bumper on the second version. The dial, decorated with the cannage motif, is equally enhanced by this deep shade.
Extending this homage to the Maison’s creative excellence, a third 38mm watch comes in a pastel pink hue. A rose gold bezel entirely set with diamonds finishes the steel case, while a dial in pink mother-of-pearl adds extra refinement.
These bold statements invite infinite mix-and-match possibilities thanks to interchangeable straps that can be swapped as and when desired. A final surprise, in an interplay of transparencies, comes in the form of automatic movements that can be seen through the case back, unveiling a oscillating weight engraved with cannage and the “Dior” signature.
These objects of desire are available in limited edition, to be discovered from the month of April.
