LATEST ADDITIONS TO THE DIOR GRAND BAL COLLECTION

Bringing a couture perspective to the watchmaking for the past fifteen years, the Dior Grand Bal line now features four new creations. This season, Dior Grand Bal Muguet and Dior Grand Bal Muguet Fleuri take inspiration from the House’s codes to propose two precious interpretations.

The collection’s signature trait – the front-mounted oscillating weight, decorated with mother-of-pearl and set with diamonds – serves as the starting point for these variations.

Available in pink and grey – two colours dear to the founding-couturier – Dior Grand Bal Muguet is enhanced with sculpted mother-of-pearl evoking the pleats of the 1954 Muguet line and the founding-couturier’s lucky flower. A mother-of-pearl ring frames the steel bezel, while the sunburst-brushed brass dial is punctuated with diamonds.

In the same light shade palette, Dior Grand Bal Muguet Fleuri features a floral motif crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The openwork mother-of-pearl, inlaid with diamonds, blue sapphires, emeralds and amethysts in the white version, and with pink sapphires and tsavorite garnets in the pink option, echoes the embroidery on Monsieur Dior’s dresses.

These timepieces are produced in limited editions of fifty-eight and thirty-eight numbered pieces respectively, recalling the founding-couturier’s lucky number: 8, a symbol of infinity.
