This cosmic homage limited to 1975 pieces, marks the return of a hero who has journeyed through time and memory. After the success of the first PRX Grendizer edition released in 2024, the legend blazes back like a comet of nostalgia, orbiting through decades of imagination and innovation to inspire once more.

As UFO Robot Grendizer celebrates 50 years of legacy, Tissot honours that milestone with a unique timepiece. For fans of the anime and dreamers, this edition is a reminder that some heroes and some stories travel through space and time to continue inspiring us.

Darkness, Made to Shine

Born from the depths of the cosmos, this full black PVD-coated PRX channels the mythic energy of Grendizer, the lone hero who descended from the stars to defend Earth. With its emblematic bracelet, this commemorative edition mirrors the hero’s journey: built to protect, crafted to endure, and destined to shine in the darkest skies. A reference to retro-futurism, it carries the magnetic charm of vintage anime and the savoir faire of Swiss watchmaking.

Grendizer dominates the dial in a dynamic pose, his clenched fist angled forward as if ready to break through the sapphire crystal. Intricate engravings and layered textures give the dial a sculptural quality, making the robot stand out with striking realism. His eyes glow yellow with intensity, while Super-LumiNova traces his form, allowing him to shine in the dark like a beacon while the seconds hand shaped like the Double Harken and crafted in 18K gold, slicing through time with precision.

Engine of the Starborn

At the heart of this limited edition beats the Powermatic 80 movement, with an 80-hour power reserve and a Nivachron balance spring designed to resist magnetic fields and temperature variations. A mechanism worthy of interstellar journeys, water-resistant to 10 bar, robust, and ready for action it is engineered to keep up with you across your adventures, while the whisper of traveling at the speed of light echoes in every tick.

Visible through the transparent caseback, the movement reveals a hidden guardian: Grendizer himself, engraved on the oscillating weight, as if watching over the mechanism from the shadows like a sentinel from the stars. Each piece is individually numbered, with “Limited Edition 1 of 1975” engraved on the caseback a nod to the year Grendizer first lit up screens and imaginations.

Brought to life by Tissot in collaboration with Go Nagai, the mastermind behind the anime, this timepiece is a reunion with the stories that once lit us up. The watch comes housed in a Spazer UFO-inspired capsule, nested within a striking gold and black outer box. Inside, drawings specially created for this limited edition awaits, hand-signed by Go Nagai himself.
