Inspired by Christian Dior’s taste for grand balls, the Dior VIII Grand Bal collection, launched in 2011, is equipped with the “Dior inversé”calibre whose functional oscillating weight, placed on the dial, reproduces the swirl of a ball gown.An exclusive movement, the “Dior Inversé 8 ¼” calibre has been developed to equip these smaller cases.Like its elder, the “Dior Inversé 11 ½” calibre equipping the 38mm Dior VIII Grand Bal models, it featuresa functional openwork and diamond-set oscillating weight placed on top of the dial.Driven by this new movement, five unique pieces in gold and black or white ceramic adorned with precious and ornamental stones in dazzling colours come to enrich the Dior VIII Grand Bal collection.A tribute to haute couture and its extravaganza.
