- The Franck Muller Company has created a brand new product line within the Infinity range. The Infinity Reka completes the infinity range and has a magnificent square case that is curved to fit perfectly around the wrist. This timepiece has the most delightful shapes and a very striking design.
The case is in harmony with the square face which has elegantly oversized numbers that emphasise the silhouette of an original and amazingly ergonomic case. In contrast, to the two other earlier collections, the Infinity Reka comes in a number of versions including one with a genuine motherof-pearl dial, a first for Franck Muller.
Mother-of-pearl symbolises maternal, feminine and protective virtues which envelopes the soul in a delicate veil that softens the harshness of character and personality. Additionally, it is purported to protect against the difficulties of existence and heartache. Mother-of-pearl ensures safety and well-being.
The Franck Muller Company is now using this beautiful translucent and glistening material with its iridescent and shimmering reflections to decorate its watch faces. The mother-of-pearl used comes from Fujiidera City in the Osaka region of Japan. The colours of the dial vary from white to pink and are available as part of the Infinity Reka collection.
The watch dial is the true protagonist of this collection and has the appearance of an invaluable surrealist painting where the Roman numerals or Arabic numbers are intricately painted by hand onto a surface embedded with sparkling diamonds or onto a mother-of-pearl surface. This timepiece reveals its dazzling radiance through its black or white diamonds and its brightly coloured numbers. This range is not just a collection of "timepieces" but is also a collection of very fine jewellery.
