The Cartier Clash at your fingertips
With the Clash bag, Cartier brings one of its jewellery codes into a new realm. Its jewelled clasp features the ‘picot’, an iconic element of Cartier’s Clash collection, which here becomes its signature. Ultra-graphic and subtly sharp – like the claws of the famous panther – the bag can be opened or closed with a single twist. A detail that is both functional and aesthetic, it gives this new line its character and immediately establishes this must-have accessory as part of Cartier’s vocabulary.

A silhouette designed as a fashion accessory
Behind this signature clasp, the tote bag exudes a certain minimalist chic. Inspired by the shape of an envelope, its design emphasises clean lines, subtly structured by the fastening system that frames the handle. When worn open, the Clash takes on a more supple and relaxed look; when closed with a click, it takes on a more distinctive character.

La matière, autre signature de Cartier
Cette apparente simplicité laisse toute sa place au travail de la matière. Réalisé dans les ateliers Cartier de Florece, le Clash témoigne d’un savoir-faire maroquinier fondé sur une sélection exigeante des cuirs et sur la précision de leur confection. Le cuir, choisi pour sa remarquable finesse, conserve un grain naturel au fini subtil et finalement très agréable au toucher. Destiné à se patiner au fil du temps, il donne au sac une dimension plus personnelle, appelée à évoluer avec son ou sa partenaire.
The line comes in various sizes (small or large) and colors, notably black, caramel, and burgundy. This last shade—a signature Cartier color—echoes the one introduced in the 1970s with the Must de Cartier collection. It is a palette that allows the Clash line to play with the brand’s design codes.
