ONLY WATCH 2015

By MyWatch

For the very first time, Only Watch, the world renowned charity auction, will be taking place in Geneva, the epicenter of high horology.

On November 7, Only Watch will open the Geneva Watch Auction Week, with hundreds of connoisseurs, donators and collectors who will undoubtedly raise their highest interest for bidding on the unique timepieces made by their favorite watchmakers for Only Watch in a new location. Phillips, in association with Bacs & Russo, will conduct the auction.

World Tour exhibit started at the Monaco Yacht Show

The 44 one of a kind models of the 2015 Only Watch collection will travel the globe to the main capitals of luxury. The Monaco Yacht Show, whose team jointly organizes the auction since its creation, launched the 6-stage journey by exhibiting the watches from September 23 to 26 inside the show venue. The collection then flew to China and has been unveiled to Chinese aficionados in Hong Kong (2-5 October) and in Beijing in the Salone Monaco at Parkview Green (9-12 October).
The American clientele also had the chance to admire the watches in New York (17-20 October, Phillips offices) before they reach London (24-27 October, Phillips offices). The collection will finally be displayed in Geneva (5-7 November).

Since 2005, brands from luxury groups and independent craftsmen have enthusiastically collaborated with Only Watch for a common goal: financing research against Duchenne muscular Dystrophy. This synergy is supported since day one by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco and driven by the sincere commitment shown by all CEOs, their teams, and many partners, truly concerned by helping this noble cause. In five editions, Only Watch has enabled the Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies to collect more than 15 million Euros and has contributed to significant advances in research over the last 10 years.

To this day, scientists and clinicians working on this genetic disease agree that the Exon skipping seems to give the best chance of success. As we approach an important milestone, research units remain hungry for more funds to maintain a fluid flow of process and facilitate progress. Only Watch will continue to make their work easier and allow research to convey hope as well as concrete results.

Only Watch 2015 is organised by Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies, Monaco Yacht Show and Phillips in association with Bacs & Russo.
